I am a physics PhD candidate studying quantum magnetism at the University of Toronto, graduating Spring 2025. I develop models to describe strongly correlated materials, where the complex interactions between billions upon billions of electrons leads to exotic magnetism that has applications in quantum computing. Due to the complexity of these models, I run simulations written in Python and C++ on the SciNet high performance computing clusters to study their consequences. My publications are cited below. I also have an interest in data science and machine learning, and have been working on side projects which will appear on this website and on my GitHub. Some of my hobbies outside of work includes climbing, cooking and chess.
